Who is behind ecosutom?

Hi! My name is Gianna and I am the creative and strategic mind behind ecosustom.

I have worked with international businesses, NGOs and the public sector to foster sustainability and business transformation through thoughtful communication that motivates people for change.

I think that good communication can unlock people’s potential for the better of our world.

It’s my passion to combine know-how about sustainable development with empathy and creativity to help my clients become visionary communicators themselves and support change processes.

In doing so, I put people's needs and desires in the focus. Because potential is only unlocked if people feel valued, heard and psychologically safe.

Thank you!

I combine diverse experiences as a communication manager with a solid know-how and an international network in sustainability. With this, I turned things that are personally important to me into a business:
I use communication as a driver for positive change.

In doing so, it is important to me to empathically and individually work with my clients rather than applying standardized methods for them.

After my undergraduate studies and a traineeship in corporate communications I decided to pack my backpack and travel. For a couple of years I spent time in Australie, New Zealand, Thailand, Indonesia and on a German island. I have worked in hospitality, as a refugee aid manager, discovered my love for yoga and deepened my connection to nature. Abroad, I learned about permaculture and became a Permaculture Designer. I started to read books from Jeffery D. Sachs, US-economist and consultant for the 2002 Millennial Goals, and other people as I became continuously interested in questions like:
How can we redesign our economic system in a way that is more just to people?
How can we ensure prosperity while respecting planetary boundaries?
How can I make people understand the enormous value of ecosystem services?

I took a decision: From now on, I would contribute to fostering a sustainable development. I would use my talent and expertise as a communications manager and my interest in sustainable development for positive change.
And I would do it my way: In connecting to people and insipiring them for change.
